Theo Tempelman AP43 Dining Chair

The AP43 chair by Theo Tempelman is another gem in our collection of designer furniture. Tempelman designed the AP43 and the AP41 (without armrests) in 1960 for AP Originals. The model was only produced for a short time, but the reissue by De Machinekamer breathes new life into the chair. And rightfully so, as it is a light and airy chair that feels equally at home at the dining table or in professional environments.

The AP43 is sleek and a prime example of simplicity, but don’t mistake that for dullness. Just take a look at the curved lines and the combination of different materials. The tubular frame is powder-coated with a subtle texture, the armrests are made of wood, and the curved backrest is available in oak or walnut wood. The seat can also be upholstered upon request. The AP43 is simply a delightful chair: modest yet comfortable – just the way we like it.
